New Coo For PKFI Asia Pacific

Graeme Blockley has joined PKF as the new PKFI Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer following two years as CEO for Bentleys Australia. A specialist in change management, Graeme has held senior level positions with multinational organizations in Australia and Asia Pacific. He is also an experienced brand marketer and holds a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Plus Two New Appointments

PKF International is pleased to welcome two new appointments, Craig Fuller as Technical Manager in the central support team and Rob Boulle as Africa Regional Member to the International Professional Standards Committee.

Craig will support the International Professional Standards Committee responsible for overseeing quality and technical standards throughout the PKF Network.

Rob has been a partner at PKF Durban for over 14 years and serves as the Chairman for the South African Professional Standards Committee and so brings a wealth of experience and technical expertise to the committee.

PKF Egypt Outperforms PWC And KPMG In Tender

The Industrial Modernization Centre (IMC) plays a key role in Egypt in translating the government’s vision into action and promoting a vibrant industrial sector capable of competing globally. The IMC is funded by a joint budget from the European Union, the Egyptian government and the Egyptian private sector.

Recently, PKF Egypt was shortlisted in the tender of External Auditor for the IMC and won, not only outperforming PWC and KPMG but also all other direct competitors from the other mid-tier firms.

FBK To Audit Russian Central Bank

The Bid Evaluation Committee of the National Finance Council (NFC) announced FBK and PwC alliance of companies the winner in the competition for the audit of the Central Bank of Russia financial statements for 2013. FBK has already taken part in the auditing of financial statements of the Central Bank eight times previously.

Representation In The Midlands
Leading Midlands based accountancy and business advisory firm, Cooper Parry, has joined the PKF network of accounting firms. Cooper Parry is the only PKF member in the Midlands and will join London-based PKF Littlejohn and Scottish firm Johnston Carmichael to represent PKF in the UK.
Cooper Parry’s business operates across a number of core business areas including: wealth management, corporate finance, IT solutions, audit, tax, restructuring and transaction services. The firm has a strong UK client base and is increasingly working on international business and cross-border deals and acquisitions.

And Expansion In Spain….
Spain’s improving economic climate, predictions of a growth of GDP, coupled with the recovery of private consumption and a push for exports, are encouraging the business sector’s plans for job creation. One of the companies planning to strengthen their manpower is PKF Attest, which is ranked eighth among Spanish audit & accounting firms. In 2012 the firm had a turnover of Euro 21.7 Million and employed a workforce of 329 people. For 2014 PKF Attest is targeting at hiring 34 additional experts.
