I am very pleased to share with you that we are in the process on registering a branch in the Abu Dhabi Airport Free Zone (ADAFZ). (A write-up on the vision, development and facilities available is re-produced on page 9 for those of you not familiar with ADAFZ.) The branch will be catering to the accounting and payroll requirements of companies registered in ADAFZ and who see outsourcing these back office functions as an efficient way forward for their chosen business model. We see it as an ideal way for companies to receive the benefit of our in-house knowledge of the application of International Financial Reporting Standards and of our experience of a variety of accounting systems across a broad range of business sectors. We will be able to maintain accounting records either on the client’s own accounting system or on our own software, whichever the client is most comfortable with. We will also be able to produce a range of management information tailored to the client’s needs.
We are pleased to feature in this issue an interview with Mr. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, the dynamic and visionary director of Sharjah Free Zone Authority, UAE. Mr. Saud Salim represents the breed of young nationals who believe that efforts aimed at improving society are critical to achieving progress and who are committed to the process of the economic development of the UAE.
We also have updates on the budgets of the governments of India and the Sultanate of Oman and on the Wills and Probate Registration in the DIFC. Please feel free to write to email@example.com if you would like to express an opinion on any matter inside.
