Meet Our Team Member

V.T.V. Damodaran, heads the HR & Administrative Department of PKF, Abu Dhabi office. Additionally, he also supervises and executes company and branch-set up, and liquidation assignments. A graduate in Arts and a post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management, he worked with KELTRON, a very large public sector undertaking in Kerala, India, for 18 years, and in Qatar for a short time prior to joining PKF.

VTV, as he is popularly known, is engaged in many socio-cultural and humanitarian activities, and has received many awards and plaudits, including the prestigious Folklore Academy Award of the Government of Kerala in 2006. He is also a Honorary Director of “Malabar Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped (MRCH)”, a school for mentally and physically challenged children in Payyanur, Kerala. A multifaceted personality, he also took part in a few Malayalam movies, and produced a documentary film, “Kelipperuma”, based on kolkali, a folk art, which is a mix of folk songs and martial arts popular in northern Kerala, of which his father (Late Mr. K.U. Rama Poduval) was a leading proponent.

VTV is an active member of India Social & Cultural Centre in Abu Dhabi, and is the founder and President of the Gandhi Study Centre – a forum for spreading the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi among the younger generation. He is married to Nirmala, a home maker, and they have two children – daughter Aiswarya, an MBA graduate and son Vaisakh, a graduate in Civil Engineering.
